The Canyon View Jaguars can now show off 14 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They really took it to Verrado for the full four quarters, racking up a 61-18 victory on the road. With Canyon View ahead 32-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Canyon View was led to victory by Jaylin Williams and Aaliyah Rogers. Williams scored 15 points along with two steals, while Rogers scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Jaila Flowers was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Canyon View is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Verrado, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Canyon View will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against O'Connor at 7:00 p.m. Canyon View will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something O'Connor surely won't give up without a fight. Verrado does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
