This season hasn't been kind to the Osmond/Randolph Hawks, who are still winless after their fourth match. They took a 39-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Creighton. Osmond/Randolph was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Creighton apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Osmond/Randolph lost on Tuesday, one person who can't be blamed is Sophie Gansebom. Despite the final result, she scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Gansebom grabbed two or more steals.
Osmond/Randolph's defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Creighton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osmond/Randolph will square off against Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Creighton, they will head out on the road to face off against Winside on Friday.
