Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Nimitz). They breezed by the Eisenhower Eagles to the tune of 78-38 on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Cougars sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jimiren Ratliff was his usual excellent self, putting up 26 points. Another player making a difference was Joshua Coleman, who posted 13 points.

Nimitz pushed their record up to 17-14 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Eisenhower, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 19 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-19 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Nimitz Cougars duke it out with the Spring Lions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eisenhower, they will take on Aldine at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
