De La Salle is on a three-game streak of home wins, while College Park is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Spartans will host the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
De La Salle barely beat San Ramon Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Spartans never let the Wolves get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. Considering the Spartans have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

At the plate, De La Salle let Antonio Castro and Tyler Spangler run wild. Castro went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Spangler went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Spangler has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Gray, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
De La Salle kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Ramon Valley only managed two hits.
College Park not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 4th (when they won 8-0). They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Clayton Valley Charter.
TJ Reinhart was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run, one double, and one RBI. That double marked the first that he has hit this season. Vincent 'Tino' Vasell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

College Park's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: De La Salle has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .446. It's a different story for College Park, though, as they've only averaged .359. Will they be able to contain De La Salle's hitters?
De La Salle beat College Park 7-3 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
