Rock Creek Christian Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 21 points or more this season. They blew past New Hope Academy 77-49 on the road. Given Rock Creek Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while New Hope Academy is ranked 171st), the result last Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
James Hans was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 2 assists. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Barnes, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds.
Central Carolina Prep is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Rock Creek Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
