Mars lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Alexis Cashdollar, who scored eight points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Mya Moore, who scored eight points along with five rebounds.
North Hills' win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Mars, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
North Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Hampton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hampton and North Hills are at an even 3-3 over their past six head-to-heads. As for Mars, they will head out on the road to face off against New Castle at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. New Castle will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 629th, while Mars is ranked 216th).
