Baseball Game Preview: Lincoln Trojans vs. West Wolfpack

For the second straight game, Lincoln will face off against West. The Trojans will look to defend their home field on Thursday against the Wolfpack at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lincoln has five straight victories, West has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Lincoln is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past West 15-3 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Joey Victor made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has become a key player for Lincoln: the team is undefeated when he allows at most one hit, but 6-8 otherwise. Victor was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three).
