It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Liberty Hurricanes ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They managed a 48-42 victory over Nazareth Area. Winning may never get old, but Liberty sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Liberty's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ruby Miller, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds. Emma Pukszyn was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight assists and two steals.
Liberty has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Nazareth Area, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8.
Liberty will head out on the road to take on Pocono Mountain West at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Nazareth Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
