Legend's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over Castle View. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Legend let Maddie Kessel and Caylee Humphrey run wild. Kessel went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Humphrey got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave Kessel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Athey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
Legend always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .719. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Castle View only posted an OBP of .231.
Meanwhile, Chaparral made easy work of Heritage on Monday and carried off a 13-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolverines.
Grace Carpenter looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched.
On the hitting side, Keegan Freitas was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Brooklyn Karjala was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Legend's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Chaparral, their win bumped their record up to 11-9.
Chaparral's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Legend has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.9 hits per game. It's a different story for Chaparral, though, as they've been averaging 8.8 hits. Given Legend's sizable advantage in that area, the Wolverines will need to find a way to close that gap.
Legend took their victory against Chaparral in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 12-1 score. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolverines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
