The Propel Montour Legends were the 45-32 winner over the Bentworth Bearcats when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Propel Montour was beaten by Bentworth 60-7 on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Propel Montour has scored all season.
Amber Sallee continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Bentworth, scoring 28 points. The game was Sallee's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Gianna Brown was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Propel Montour has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Bentworth, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-6.
Propel Montour will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Neighborhood Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 22, 2024. Bentworth won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South Side on December 28th. South Side has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
