The Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 29 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 41-12 win over Sullivan County at home. Given Our Lady of Lourdes Regional's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 192nd, while Sullivan County is ranked 502nd), the result on Saturday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Our Lady of Lourdes Regional to victory, but perhaps none more so than Masie Reed, who scored 11 points along with six assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Cassidy Grimes, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Our Lady of Lourdes Regional's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Sullivan County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tri-Valley at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Sullivan County will be home for the holidays to greet Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
