Classical Academy hasn't had much luck against La Jolla Country Day recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Caimans will head out to face off against the Torreys at 5:00 p.m.

Trevor Hoff made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. He has become a key player for Classical Academy: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least one home run, but 7-11 otherwise.
Meanwhile, La Jolla Country Day made easy work of Maranatha Christian on Friday and carried off a 12-3 win.
Jamie Onaitis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Mitch Circuit was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Josh Rock was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and one stolen base.
La Jolla Country Day always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .579. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
La Jolla Country Day's record is now 12-10. As for Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Classical Academy hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like La Jolla Country Day struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs.
