Chaparral won the last time they faced Temescal Canyon and Zetta Faasua did her part to make sure it happened again. The Pumas breezed past the Titans to the tune of 73-32 on Saturday with plenty of help from Faasua, who dropped a double-double with 33 points and ten boards. Her evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points.

Maya Ford was another key player, dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

The victory was the third in a row for Chaparral, bringing their record up to 8-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points over those games. As for Temescal Canyon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.

Chaparral and Rancho Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pumas will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for Temescal Canyon, they are taking a road trip to take on Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
