The Constitution Generals lost against the Academy at Palumbo Griffin back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Constitution suffered a rough 59-36 defeat at the hands of Academy at Palumbo. Constitution has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Aisha Muibi was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 29 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Academy at Palumbo's points. Beatrix Kaeli was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Constitution's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Academy at Palumbo, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Constitution will take on Sankofa Freedom Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Academy at Palumbo's road trip will continue as they head out to face Abraham Lincoln at 3:15 p.m. on December 11th.
