But on Friday, the Bucks were king.
Jefferson Souza knocked in a pair of field goals (36 and 40 yards), according to Mark Singer working for the Miami Herald, to give his team all it would need for the win.
The Bucks also racked up three interceptions and blocked a punt on a rainy night.
Marco Salani kicked a 30-yarder for the Raiders, but also had three misses, including the final one. Deerfield Beach was offsides on a 25-yard attempt and the Raiders moved up for the tying kick but it missed.
While it was assuredly a huge upset for the 2015 season, Deerfield Beach has proven in the past that it can beat the national power. The Bucks are 4-7 against STA since 2004, including a 22-7 triumph in 2013.
