Blackduck have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Friday they take on Badger/Greenbush-Middle River at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Blackduck have to be hurting after a devastating 0-26 loss at the hands of Walker-Hackensack-Akeley two weeks ago. The state rankings had actually given Blackduck a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were given a punishing 0-45 defeat at the hands of Mahnomen/Waubun.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
