The West Tallahatchie Choctaws's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They fell 31-24 to Palmer. Despite the loss, West Tallahatchie saw an underclassman step up: Kydresha Washington scored eight points.
West Tallahatchie's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-5. As for Palmer, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
West Tallahatchie won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Coahoma County at 4:00 p.m. on December 21st. Coahoma County is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
