They never let the Gateway Science Academy Gators get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Bella Schwetz looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Lauryn Walker was a standout: she got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted over her last ten matchups. Another player making a difference was Francesca Lane, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
