They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Saint James Saints 30-28. The win almost wasn't to be: the Friars were down 21-0 in the second quarter.
Archbishop Curley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Adam Cook out in front who threw for 169 yards and three touchdowns. 101 of those passing yards were hauled in by Jemal O'Neal, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.
