Southland Academy had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles 9-1 on Tuesday. The Raiders not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 21st.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-15. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Coming up, Southland Academy will be playing at home against Southwest Georgia Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Raiders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Georgia Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
