Georgia School for Innovation & Classics took  an  eight-run  loss the last time they faced off against Georgia Military College, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Patriots came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs on Thursday, sneaking past  7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Patriots sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
 Abigail Brown (Sr) made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned  (and four unearned) runs off   ten  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Abby Nash (Fr), who  went 3-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Georgia School for Innovation & Classics was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .419. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .419 or higher in three consecutive  games.
Georgia School for Innovation & Classics' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Georgia Military College, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-3.
