It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the LBJ Austin Jaguars had no problem doing just that on Friday. They didn't even let Pflugerville onto the board and left with a 20-0 victory. The win was nothing new for LBJ Austin as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Ali Scott threw for 48 yards on seven of 12 attempts. Fatu Mukuba was his top target, picking up 30 receiving yards. On the ground, Caleb Crenshaw rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.
LBJ Austin pushed their record up to 8-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Pflugerville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
LBJ Austin will take on Huntsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Huntsville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than LBJ Austin in Texas (Huntsville is ranked 172nd, while LBJ Austin is ranked 381st). Pflugerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
