The York Suburban Trojans came tearing into Saturday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Susquehannock by a score of 35-26. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points York Suburban has scored all year.
Despite the defeat, Susquehannock saw an underclassman step up: Elena Snyder scored 15 points along with three steals.
York Suburban pushed their record up to 18-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Susquehannock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
York Suburban will head out on the road to face off against the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Greencastle-Antrim will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 159th, while the Trojans are ranked 31st). As for Susquehannock, they will be playing at home against the Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennard-Dale is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.
