Santa Ana Valley won the last time they faced Bolsa Grande and things went their way on Tuesday too. In a tight match that could have gone either way, the Santa Ana Valley Falcons made off with a 42-41 victory over the Bolsa Grande Matadors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Leading Santa Ana Valley to victory were Jocelyn Guadalupe and Jayleen Roldan. Guadalupe posted 16 points, while Roldan earned 13 points. Another player making a difference was Maria Guadalupe Aburto, who put up six points.

Santa Ana Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season. As for Bolsa Grande, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Santa Ana Valley Falcons challenge the Calvary Chapel Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bolsa Grande, they will welcome La Quinta at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
