The Westgate Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the New Iberia Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, New Iberia stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 50-26 margin over Sulphur. The win was nothing new for New Iberia as they're now sitting on three straight.
Westgate dropped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for New Iberia, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.
