If Southwest DeKalb was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Lithonia on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Southwest DeKalb Panthers came up short against the Redan Raiders on Saturday, falling 13-3. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Southwest DeKalb saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kameron Scott, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Southwest DeKalb's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Redan, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southwest DeKalb will face off against North Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Southwest DeKalb is facing North Springs at the right time seeing as North Springs is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Redan, they will take on Salem at 5:55 p.m. on Tuesday. Redan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
