Loara is 8-2 against Bolsa Grande since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. Loara found their leader in underclassman Sophia Rangel, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. Rangel hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Angela Ngo was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with eight rebounds and six steals.
Bolsa Grande suffered their biggest loss since December 13, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 49-15 loss at the hands of La Quinta. Bolsa Grande was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-5.
Loara is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Bolsa Grande, they bumped their record down to 1-20 with that loss, which was their ninth straight at home.
Everything went Loara's way against Bolsa Grande in their previous matchup two weeks ago as Loara made off with a 68-43 win. With Loara ahead 31-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.
