Brady Marqoupis was his usual excellent self, scoring 40 points for Oxford. The contest was Marqoupis' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Andruw Martinez was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Southbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Oxford, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Southbridge will head out on the road to face off against Uxbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Uxbridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southbridge in Massachusetts (Uxbridge is ranked 25th, while Southbridge is ranked 186th). As for Oxford, they will be playing at home against Northbridge at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Northbridge and Oxford are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
