Leading Westlake Charter to victory were Chigozie Igwegbe and Anthonia Nwaukoni. Igwegbe scored 9 points along with 8 rebounds, while Nwaukoni scored 9 points along with 14 rebounds. Igwegbe is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
Westlake Charter's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mira Loma, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Westlake Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mira Loma, they will head out on the road to face off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
