Baseball Recap: Norwalk Wins Going Away Against Paramount

Norwalk won the last time they faced Paramount and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Norwalk Lancers were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Paramount Pirates. That seven run margin sets a new team best for the Lancers this season.

Marcus Castillo was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Israel Molina, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

The win got Norwalk back to even at 4-4. As for Paramount, their record now sits at 3-5.

Looking ahead, Norwalk will look to defend their home field on Friday against Dominguez at 3:15 p.m. As for Paramount, they will venture away from home to challenge Downey at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Downey will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Paramount surely won't give up without a fight.
