Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Exeter-West Greenwich). They blew past the Times Squared Academy Eagles 18-1 on Saturday. The Scarlet Knights have beaten the Eagles the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Eagles has come to flipping the script.
Ethan Koczwanski and Dawson Sweet made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Koczwanski tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Sweet struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Koczwanski has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Koczwanski got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI, while Sweet went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
