In what's become a running theme this season, the Kennedy Cougars gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Canoga Park 68-15 on the road. With that win, Kennedy brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Kennedy was led to victory by Leilani Richards and Andreya Villa. Richards scored 15 points, while Villa scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Katherine Franco was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with three steals.
Kennedy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Canoga Park, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
Kennedy will head out on the road to challenge Van Nuys at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Van Nuys will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak. As for Canoga Park, they will be playing at home against Reseda at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
