As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dunn has scored all season. Clayton Henderson was another key contributor, scoring 26 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Niangua pushed their record up to 16-2 with that victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.5 points. As for New Covenant Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Niangua won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Hornets at 5:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Fair Play will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 514th, while the Cardinals are ranked 92nd). As for New Covenant Academy, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Verona is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
