On TuesdayMcIntosh kept up with Dalton until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Dalton Catamounts' defense stepped up to hand the McIntosh Chiefs a 3-0 shutout. For the Catamounts, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory the Chiefs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Dalton and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for McIntosh, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
