Kennedy came into Tuesday's contest having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the South Gate Rams on Tuesday. That looming 7-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cougars yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Andrew Aguirre, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Gabriel Soto was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base.

Kennedy's victory bumped their record up to 4-13. As for South Gate, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
