Cumberland Valley is 10-0 against Carlisle since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cumberland Valley Eagles will be playing at home against the Carlisle Thundering Herd at 7:30 p.m. Cumberland Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Carlisle will be coming in after a loss.
Cumberland Valley posted their closest win yet this season on Friday. They had just enough and edged Central Dauphin East out 35-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Cumberland Valley.
Sienna Manns was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with five steals. Another player making a difference was Greta Dwyer, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Carlisle's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They fell to Harrisburg 40-36.
Cumberland Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Carlisle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.
Cumberland Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Carlisle when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 40-35 win.
