Meghan Flynn was Sayre's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Rylee Lantz held things down on the boards with seven rebounds. She took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with an assist.
Williamson found their leader in underclassman Kenna Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. Madisen Jones was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three steals.
Sayre bumped their record down to 0-14 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.3 points per game. As for Williamson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-2.
Sayre will be playing in front of their home fans against Athens at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamson, they will head out on the road to face off against Canton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kendall Kitchen and Taylor Rae Jones.
