Mt. Pleasant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. Their2024 ended with a 53-36 loss against the West Mifflin Titans. One positive for the Vikings, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Mt. Pleasant's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for West Mifflin, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Pleasant and Greensburg Salem will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Mt. Pleasant has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for West Mifflin, they will welcome McKeesport at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
