Sequatchie County blew Giles County out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Friday Giles County got their revenge. The Indians fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of  41-38. The Indians' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
 A big part of Giles County's  win came down to the chemistry between  Xavier Randolph and his top target  Pierson Collier. Randolph rushed for 86 yards and one  TD on only eight carries while  Collier gained 177 total yards and three touchdowns. Those  86  rushing yards gave  Randolph a new career-high.  Dallas Buckner was in the mix  as well, providing Giles County with two scores.
Sequatchie County's  defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for Giles County, the  victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
 Coming up, Sequatchie County will challenge Brainerd at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Giles County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
