The Pitman Pride scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They really took it to Modesto for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-24 win on the road. Pitman has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.
Elizabeth Webb was her usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Kaitlyn Wu was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with seven rebounds.
Pitman now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Modesto, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pitman will take on Downey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Modesto, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Enochs at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Enochs is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
