Basketball Recap: Sutter Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Sutter extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Torrence Harter. The Sutter Huskies enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over the Casa Roble Rams on Tuesday thanks in part to Harter, who went 7 for 14 en route to 21 points along with 12 rebounds and ten assists. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Sutter's points.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lydia Chechourka-Price, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brinley Ornelas, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 10 points.

Sutter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for Casa Roble, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season.

Sutter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-41 win against El Camino on the 30th. Casa Roble has also already played their next match, a 46-21 loss against Destiny Christian Academy on the 30th.
