Carson Mcdonald's Big Game Leads Mccool Junction over Centennial
Starting off the list is McCool Junction's Carson Mcdonald, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mcdonald rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 180 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
The victory (which was McCool Junction's third in a row) raised their record to 5-2. Mcdonald and McCool Junction are taking a road trip to take on Shelby-Rising City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Bryson Plock Leads Mccool Junction over Centennial
On Friday, McCool Junction got the W thanks in part to Bryson Plock playing the best football he has all season. Plock picked up 118 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns.

Heartland was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Carter Siebert did his best to prevent it. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 60 yards.
For the season, Siebert has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 33.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 52.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 81.43 rushing yards.

Carter Eickmeier and Co. Win Fifth in a Row
Carter Eickmeier was instrumental in extending Shelby-Rising City's winning streak to five on Friday. Eickmeier turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 193 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.2 yards per carry.
Shelby-Rising City pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Eickmeier and Shelby-Rising City will challenge McCool Junction at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kaleb Palik Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Kaleb Palik of East Butler. Palik rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.1 yards per carry.
East Butler's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Palik and East Butler will be playing in front of their home fans against Centennial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
