El Dorado is 10-0 against Galt since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The El Dorado Cougars will be playing at home against the Galt Warriors at 7:00 p.m. El Dorado will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, El Dorado was able to grind out a solid victory over Rosemont, taking the game 58-46.
Meanwhile, Galt's four-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 41-18 margin over Bradshaw Christian. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Galt has posted against Bradshaw Christian since May 25, 2021.
Galt can attribute much of their success to Akayla-Joy Gunter, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gunter has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Pena, who scored eight points.
El Dorado is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-9 record this season. As for Galt, their win ended a 11-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-19.
Everything came up roses for El Dorado against Galt when the teams last played on January 9th as the squad secured a 50-12 win. With El Dorado ahead 30-7 at the half, the match was all but over already.
