He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-1.
In other batting news, Mason Greenhouse and Carter Hadnot did most of the damage at the plate: Greenhouse went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI, while Hadnot scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The dominant performance gave Greenhouse a new career-high in triples. Another player making a difference was Max Lopez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

At the plate, Linfield Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caelin Thomason, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
Linfield Christian moved to 6-1-1 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. Everything went Aquinas' way against Linfield Christian in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Aquinas made off with a 10-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Aquinas since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
