While Carrollton put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Douglas County. The Trojans blew past the Tigers 15-0. Considering the Trojans have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Carrollton is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.1 runs on average over those games. As for Douglas County, they dropped their record down to 3-16 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Douglas County Tigers challenge Chapel Hill Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
