Chrissy Grabowski made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March of 2024.
In other batting news, Eliana Grubbs was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Delainey Neher, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.
Bremen kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Noble only managed two hits.
Meanwhile, Manchester took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past New Haven 11-1. The Squires haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Ava Sautter, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadley West, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
