Addison Benner was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 19 points along with 7 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Potteiger, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 blocks.
Pottstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Brandywine Heights Area, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Pottstown will be playing in front of their home fans against Upper Darby at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brandywine Heights Area, they will head out on the road to face off against Pottsgrove at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
