The Sharpsville Blue Devils scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They walked away with a 66-53 victory over Hickory. The victory was nothing new for Sharpsville as they're now sitting on four straight.
Leading Sharpsville to victory were Lily Palko and Macie Steiner. Palko scored 27 points, while Steiner scored 29 points. Steiner continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.
Sharpsville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Hickory, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
Sharpsville will stay at home for another game and welcome Sharon at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Pennsylvania (Sharpsville is ranked 427th, while Sharon is ranked 404th). Hickory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
