Central proved they can win big on Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Orosi Cardinals 6-5. The win was familiar territory for the Grizzlies, who have now won three games in a row.

Christian Frazel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jalen Anderson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jose Ballesteros, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orosi only posted an OBP of .343.

Central's record is now 3-1. As for Orosi, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Central has already played their next matchup, a 16-6 victory against Tranquillity on the 6th. As for Orosi, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-3 win against Strathmore on the 5th.
