The Ross Little Giants lost against the Columbian Tornadoes back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Ross fell just short of Columbian by a score of 53-50. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ross in their matchups with Columbian: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Ross saw an underclassman step up: Justin Haralson scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds. Dekentre Hardin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Ross now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Columbian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ross will take on Anthony Wayne at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbian, they will be playing at home against Huron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
